Here’s what to expect in more detail !
A candlelit yoga flow: with a focus on embracing the nourishment of stillness. In held postures, as we luxuriate in the calmness afforded by the breath. A grounded flow to soothe the mind, body and soul.
A warming bonfire: together we will contemplate how best to move into winter, nourish ourselves with a spiritual sense of hibernation, embracing the cold, dark and stillness that winter affords.
Nurture our inner child: melting our ‘trick or treat” marshmallows around the fire.

And finally, A soothing yoga nidra practice to nourish our mind body and soul.

Frightfully spooky Halloween yoga evening

“All hallows”, was traditionally a time to celebrate the energy of the spirit world, an evening filled with spookiness. Add to that, we now have the excitement of trick or treating!
What better place to celebrate this spookiness than in Dunwich, steeped in history, with its lost city beneath the sea, and according to some, filled with ghosts!
All Hallows also falls at the same time as the Celtic fire festival of “Samhain”, which celebrates the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year. It too, is known as the festival of the dead, but rather than this being a time of sadness, it is a time for starting over, letting go of the old and making time and the necessary changes, to welcome in the new.
Together we will welcome in the dark, as we enter this wintering period of hibernation, a time of slowing down and reflection, affording you the much needed rest needed before your spring rebirth.
To celebrate these 2 festivals the evening will run as follows:
A candlelit yoga flow: encouraging us to embrace our breathe as we flow gently and enjoy the nourishment of stillness as we hold grounding asanas.
A warming bonfire: together we will contemplate how best to move into winter, nourish ourselves with a spiritual sense of hibernation, embracing the cold, dark and stillness that winter affords.
Nurture our inner child: melting our ‘trick or treat” marshmallow around the fire.
And finally, A soothing yoga nidra practice to nourish our mind body and soul.

Harvest Moon Yoga and Sea swim 2023
Harvest your energy at the Super Harvest New Moon.
Yoga – Thursday 28th September. 6.15pm – 7.30pm. Sea swim after (optional!).
@The Old Woodyard, Dunwich.

Come flow with me for the last of the 2023 super moons. Followed by a trip down the hill to Dunwich Beach for a sea swim, dip, paddle or sit and absorb the full moons energy as it glistens on the sea.

We will begin the evening by flowing with this harvest energy and end our practice by sitting in my courtyard, in stillness, bathed in the moon light, taking time to reflect and set intentions.
Energetically, this full moon falls close to the autumn equinox, the halfway point of the astrological year. As such, It represents a time to “harvest” the things you’ve been working toward since the Spring, and the intentions you set around the Summer Equinox. It also represents the end of a six-month cycle, and the start of a new one.
So join me in Dunwich @The Old woodyard.
To secure your place in the moonlight please email me and make a BACS payment to secure your place.
